The Massachusetts Latino Police Officers Association does not have a comment at this time regarding the vote of “no confidence” filed by the Brockton Supervisors Union against Chief Perez.
Matters of this nature can prompt review and reinforce the importance of accountability within an organization. However, without comprehensive knowledge of the internal circumstances and other relevant considerations involved, it would be inappropriate for our Association to speculate or offer an opinion.
We support a fair, impartial, and transparent process to ensure that any decisions made are grounded in facts and serve the best interests of all stakeholders.
